What’s on at the Advanced Treatments Stage at Professional Beauty Johannesburg?

Sunday, 3 September will see several experts present on skincare topics on the Advanced Treatments Stage at Professional Beauty Johannesburg, taking place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.

One of the topics, presented by Komona Govender, focuses on the importance of a healthy functioning microbiome and the health of the skin. A topic of vital importance, particularly in South Africa with its harsh sunlight, is how to identify melanomas and carcinomas. This session will be presented by a medical doctor.

In addition, an experienced advanced therapist will discuss some of the more popular treatment modalities available in the market, the science behind them, and what results can be expected.

Various device-based technologies will come under the spotlight on the Advanced Treatments Stage, including Tixel Technology (presented by Joanne Saniford). Govender will unpack profractional laser technology, while a Dermology representative will delve into IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). A technology called 3 Deep Radiofrequency will also be presented.

Sure to attract interest is a session devoted to lip fillers and how aesthetic doctors go about injecting them.

Lastly, Unaiza Suliman will give valuable tips on how to convert a beauty salon into an aesthetic clinic.

While attendance for the Advanced Treatments Stage sessions is free, it is necessary to first register for the Professional Beauty Johannesburg Expo in order to gain access to the event. To pre-register for free click here https://pbjohannesburg.showhub.live/
