Ayesha Rajah is a somatologist who has been involved in the spa and skincare industry for over 20 years. She is the owner of Urban Bliss Wellness Spa in Emmarentia and Managing Director of A&I Importers, where she facilitates training for three leading professional skincare brands.

After completing a diploma in Blogging & Content Marketing, Ayesha launched Social Medi8, a a social media marketing and management company focused on the professional beauty industry. She also recently conceptualised a new consumer-based website called Beauty Warriors, which is like a Trip Advisor site for all things professional beauty related, on behalf of Media Inkorporated.



Jared Hines is the founder of Hines and Harley Men’s Grooming Lounge, which has won the Professional Beauty Award for Best Men’s Grooming Salon for the past four years. A qualified aesthetician and somatologist, Jared’s CV includes stints at some of South Africa’s top spas, including Mount Grace and the Spa at the Saxon Hotel. In 2017, Jared won the Professional Beauty Award for Manager of the Year.


Esna Colyn is the CEO of the Imbalie Beauty Group, incorporating the Placecol Skin Care Clinics and the Dream Nails and Perfect 10 beauty salon franchises.


Zeenat Ganie is an internationally certified, licensed and accredited NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and NLP Transformative LifeCoach and Facilitator. She has coached in Italy, Bali, Turkey, London, New York and the UAE. Zeenat offers Skype, individual and corporate sessions. Clients include Grant Thornton, Nandos and Spur, among others.


Kym Stafford is the owner of Dolce Vita Beauty Centre, an exclusive ladies-only spa in Randpark Ridge. A qualified somatolagist, Kym is also the expert aesthetics trainer for a well-known South African skincare brand.


After completing her BComm Finance Degree, Tamlin Joannides spent three years in imports and exports before embarking on her certification at Lash Xtreme in 2008, followed by a Skincare Therapy qualification at Camelot in 2010. She opened the Lash & Brow Bar and then gained a permanent make-up certification in 2014. Tamlin has since developed her own range of eyelash extensions and products called Eyediology. Empowerment of women has always her end goal, be it by making them look even more beautiful in the salon, empowering them as staff members, or educating and uplifting them through the company’s training schools.
