Over the past few years, it has become easier for permanent make-up artists to specialise in melanated skin.
For years, artists were told by their instructors that they could not perform permanent cosmetic services on skin of colour; technicians believed that permanent make-up healed poorly on darker skin. Fortunately, this myth has been dispelled and artists around the world are showing off beautiful healed results on skin of colour.
