The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town, South Africa, has been selected as a finalist in the Spa of the Year – Middle East & Africa category of the World Spa & Wellness Awards, taking place in London on 5 March 2023.

Twelve Apostles is competing against another spa from Africa, namely the Spa Royal Mansour in Marrakech, Morocco. Also in this category in an Indian Ocean Island spa – The Spa at Four Seasons Resort, Flacq, Mauritius.

These three spas are up against spas in Oman, Dubai and Qatar.

Celebrating spas from around the world across 10 categories, the World Spa & Wellness Awards were created by the Professional Beauty Group to recognise excellence in wellness provision, treatment delivery customer care, business skill, leadership and sustainability.

The Spa at Twelve Apostles, which has already won several awards to date, offers guests what it refers to as ‘a cocoon of rejuvenation’, where the hotel’s famous sea views are exchanged for the serenity of a calm and restorative indoor space, offering world-class wellness facilities.

Two mountainside Spa Gezebos, which offer panoramic views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain National Park, are used for a wide range of massage treatments.

The spa’s hydrotherapy facilities include warm and cold plunge pools, a unique saltwater flotation pool and a rasul chamber.
