Woodlands Spa in Muldersdrift, Gauteng, is a finalist in the Sustainable Spa/Wellness Facility - The Michael Stusser Award category of GSN Planet’s 2023 Sustainability Awards.
The spa is up against the following properties: Hotel Weihrerhof, Italy; Keemala, Thailand; and The Spa at Sec-he, United States.
Finalists were selected by an independent judging panel, comprised of experienced professionals in the sustainability, spa and wellness industries.
The GSN Sustainability Awards are a global awards project for the spa, wellness and personal care sectors, created to honour and showcase outstanding accomplishments and innovations in sustainability within the industry. Submissions were received from properties and businesses in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania, all being of outstanding merit.
The winner in each category will be decided by community voting from the 15th to 20th of October, and will be announced on 24 October at the GSN Awards Ceremony taking place during the 2023 GSN Sustainability, Buyers and Community Summit. The summit will be held on October 22-25 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI.
