Placecol launches Excellence line

South African skincare brand, Placecol (part of the Imbalie Beauty Group), has launched its Excellence line, comprising four hero products, each targeted at a specific skin concern.

Says Imbalie Beauty CEO, Esna Colyn: “We have positioned the Excellence line as ‘Our Superior Biological Solution’ and the products are ISO9001 and GMP-approved. They are also approved by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority.

“These scientifically developed products penetrate the skin at a cellular level to deliver optimal results from the inside out. We tested this range for a year. All the products contain sunflower oil, a vitamin E rich anti-oxidant that helps control premature ageing, as well as rice peptides, which act as a defence mechanism against stress.”

Excellence comprises: Gravity Lift Solution; Brighten Solution; Pure Solution; and Scar Solution. The Gravity Lift, Brighten and Pure Solutions contain tropaeolum major flower, an anti-oxidant that helps protect the skin against the daily exposure of blue light rays from cell phones and screens.

Colyn is looking forward to celebrating Placecol’s 40th birthday next year. “Placecol was founded by a true icon in the industry, Elma McKenzie, four decades ago. I still consult with Elma to this day regarding our new products.”
