Matsimela collaborates with Placecol

The new Matsimela manicure and pedicure ranges represent an ‘exciting collaboration’ with South African salon chain and skincare brand, Placecol.

So said Esna Colyn, CEO of Imbalie Beauty (owner of Placecol) at a launch held late last year in Johannesburg. ”We love to create and bring out new products. So, we were very excited to collaborate with Matsimela in terms of their new hand and foot ranges. Placecol is proudly South African and we create new jobs. It’s all about collaboration and about quality products. We are going to offer these new Matsimela products in the salons and skin clinics that fall under the Imbalie Beauty umbrella.”

Wayne Nel, co-founder and co-developer of the Matsimela brand along with wife Olivia, added: “What a great opportunity for us to work with Esna Colyn and Imbalie Beauty. We’re very inspired by how Esna treats clients, staff and suppliers. Imbalie customers don’t have much time at their disposal so we designed our new products to extend the salon manicure and pedicure treatments in the home.”

Emmy Stoltz, who heads up spa distribution for Matsimela, explained that the new hand and foot care ranges were specifically formulated with a range of actives essential for rejuvenation, protection and active hydration.

She continued: “Our new hand and décolletage range has been scientifically formulated with anti-ageing and broad spectrum UV absorbers essential for visible skin rejuvenation and protection. These ingredients also create a powerful combination that shows a 46% increase in hydration within three hours and a long term hydration of 56% over 21 days.
