L’Oréal bans all animal hair in make-up brushes

French cosmetics giant, L’Oréal, has banned the use of all animal hair, including badgers and goats, in its make-up brushes.
This follows a PETA-led campaign that exposed extreme cruelty in the badger-brush industry.
PETA also uncovered cruelty in the treatment of harvesting hair from goats.
According to veganfoodandliving.com, PETA’s campaign for L’Oreal to ditch the cruel animal-hair industry was supported by 80,000 members of the public.
Among the many other dozens of brands to effect such a ban after discussions with PETA are Procter & Gamble, Morphe, Cult Beauty and NARS.
