Two Haute Grandeur Excellence Awards ™, as well as two World Spa Awards™, have been presented to Santé Wellness Retreat & Spa in the Cape Winelands.
At the recent 2019 Haute Grandeur Excellence Awards™ in Kuala Lumpur, Santé took home the prizes for Best Country Spa on a Global Level and Best Boutique Spa in Africa.
Santé also won the awards for Africa's Best Day Spa and South Africa's Best Wellness Retreat at the World Spa Awards™, held in Dubai on 21 October.
Says Santé CEO, Ingrid Hindle: “We are both humbled and honoured for Santé to have won these four prestigious awards – particularly as it has been only 18 months since we opened.
“The awards give us confirmation that the offering at Santé – in the Day Spa as well as across the entire Wellness Retreat – is of a very high standard, effective and well received and appreciated by our guests.
“This international recognition is hugely important as South Africa is not generally well known or recognised as a wellness destination. These awards will definitely help in the journey to change that perception and will hopefully assist in bringing additional international wellness travellers and tourists to our beautiful country.”
