Will Anthony from the US and Ukrainian Tatyana Polivanova will present at the International Permanent Make-Up Conference 2019, which takes place on 17 and 18 August at The Capital in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria.
The event is organised and hosted by PCASA (Permanent Cosmetic Association of South Africa).
“This year’s conference will yet again gather local and international industry leaders and specialists presenting their techniques and sharing their knowledge and expertise with all of the passionate permanent make-up specialists South Africa has to offer. All of the presenters are experts in their field and will discuss the difficulties many artists face during procedures and how to overcome them,” says PCASA president, Paula Becker.
Topics at the conference include: Smoky Lash Enhancement®, Areola Pigmentation; PRP & Plasma; Colour Correction and Understanding Your Canvas; Ethics & Training; Eyebrow Shaping & Symmetry; Full Lips; Lash Extensions vs PMU; Cross Contamination & Waste Removal; Make-up Tutorial & Brow Shaping; and Pixel/ Ombre Eyebrows.
Tatyana Polivanova specialises in permanent make-up techniques of eyebrows, lips, eyes and microblading. She completed her first permanent make-up first course in Moscow, and in 2016 became a partner and trainer for Swiss Color. Two years later Polivanova became an international instructor. She offers master classes and training courses in amber-powder eyebrows; lips nude effect; aquarelle effect; lipstick effect; pearl lips; classic eyeliner; eyeliner with shading; and eyebrows microblading. Poliavonova’s presentation at the conference will be on Full Lips.
With over 22 years of experience, Will Anthony® has had an illustrious career and utilises his extensive permanent cosmetic experience to provide a unique and effective service that is unparalleled within the industry and is marked by a completely natural, subtle approach. He has owned and operated several tattoo studios, as well as Will Anthony® Permanent Cosmetics and After Inked® The Guest Spot™. Anthony draws from his all-encompassing background to combine traditional tattooing techniques with current permanent make-up techniques to achieve his trademarked Smoky Lash Enhancement®.
Anthony has crafted his own permanent makeup machine and developed his own Will Anthony® eyeliner pigments with LI Pigments in their Artist Signature Series. He is in a joint venture with After Inked® and Teryn Darling of Girlz Ink, to develop Skinful Beauty®, the world’s first permanent make-up after care. Anthony will do a live demo of Smoky Lash Enhancement® at the conference.
PCASA is aiming for 150 delegates at this year’s conference, which will be the biggest South Africa has ever hosted.
The conference will also host the CPCP Exam on the Friday (Highest International Written exam Globally).
