Attracting a new target market via influencer marketing, increasing lead quality for your salon, and targeting male clients are among the topics at the Business Seminar Programme at the Professional Beauty Johannesburg Expo (28 & 29 August, Gallagher Convention Centre).
All business seminars will take place within Hall 2, where the exhibition stands are located. Tickets are R40 per each seminar session.
Providing a unique perspective from outside of the industry, motivational speaker and business consultant, Brian Adams, will deliver an intriguing presentation entitled, ‘Business (and Life) Lessons from the African Bush’. Adams will share critical, but often light-hearted, lessons that we can learn from Africa’s precious animals.
In another presentation entitled ‘Show Up For Yourself’, mindset advocate and transformation coach, Puseletso Modimogale will focus on how we all need to strive to achieve and grow. This talk will help you to take control of your life and goals, while simultaneously removing stress and increasing productivity.
Gina Gall, owner and founder of the multiple award-winning Professional Skin Care Lab, will explore practical steps for achieving excellence and real results in your salon.
Social media expert Ayesha Rajah will focus on how to guarantee engagement and ROI with cut-through content and high-impact collaboration.
Cosmetic chemist John Knowlton will unpack the complex issue of how companies go about proving the product claims they make.
Salon owner and aesthetic therapist, Kym Stafford, will discuss how consumer demands have changed dramatically and how to choose the right technology to meet these demands so as to be sustainable and profitable.
There will also a panel discussion on whether the current educational syllabus is working for salons and spas.
