How fit is your business?

Updated: May 27, 2020

Internationally acclaimed speaker and sales expert, Shelley Walters, and workplace culture authority, Stef du Plessis, will present at Professional Beauty’s Get Business Fit Conference on Monday, 16 March at The Venue, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.

They will be joined by celebrated stylist and public speaker, Co van Doorn, and Kesh Naidoo of Channel Reach Marketing, among others.

Beauty professionals are urged to attend this conference, positioned as the ideal place to start getting your business into shape.

Says Phil Woods, commercial director of Professional Beauty: “This conference is not just aimed at those running a salon or spa, but all those who run a business, manage staff, work for a company, or have aspirations to start their own business.”

Shelley Walters’ presentation, ‘Service that Sells’, will show delegates how to turn their businesses into a selling and serving machine. The quality of service delivered across an organisation has a direct impact on sales, both in terms of increased client retention and new business. Walters will cover how the world of client expectations is changing and what you need to do about it; what it is that brings clients back to your business; the six expectations clients have of your business; and how to clarify and exceed client expectations. She will also share real-world stories of ordinary businesses delivering extraordinary service

Stef du Plessis will give delegates tips on how to change their business for the better. He helps companies to improve their bottom-line results by growing their people and creating winning workplace cultures. His insights, teachings and methodologies create turning points for individuals, leaders, teams and organisations alike.

As someone who has been running his own business for over 20 years, Co van Doorn will present a session called, ‘Keeping the business on track’. Van Doorn is well known for his public speaking and for his inspiring, sometimes hard-hitting rhetoric, whilst adding his personal touch of humour.

Keshantha Naidoo will focus on how business can use social media algorithms to make Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter work for them. More speakers and topics will be confirmed soon.
