Medical ethics, minimally invasive nose correction, elevating your practice while increasing patient trust, and the principles governing light therapy are some of the topics to be covered at Professional Beauty’s Aesthetic Medicine Conference, which runs on 28 March at Johannesburg’s Bryanston Country Club.
Designed as an educational event for doctors, aesthetic therapists and nurses who are interested aesthetics, the conference will award CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points to delegates.
Other topics on the agenda are ‘the non-surgical facelift’ (i.e. fractional radiofrequency microneedling), the importance of prepping skin prior to collagen induction treatment, and brightening the skin with laser and IPL.
Running alongside the conference is a table top exhibition manned by leading distributors of beauty products and aesthetic technologies.
Among the speakers are Dr Cobus van Niekerk, Dr Johan Botha, Dr Bart Kurek, Lourette du Toit, Raymond Schoeman, Kym Stafford and Estee Veale.
There will be live demonstrations on the day.
