Key international developments in the global spa arena and their relevance for the African market will be explored at the World Spa & Wellness Africa Convention, which takes place on 1 & 2 September at Gallagher Convention Centre, alongside Professional Beauty Johannesburg.
There will also be a big focus at the convention on the biggest challenges facing the spa industry today and presenting solutions to these.
Other topics include 360° Wellness(incorporating fitness, nutrition and mindfulness); spa menu engineering; effective communications and cross-promotion between hotel and spa; revenue generation in the spa; yielding; and social media marketing.

The Early Bird special for a two-day pass to the World Spa & Wellness Africa Convention (including lunch, refreshments and fast-tracked entry into the Professional Beauty Johannesburg Expo) is R950 until 1 August. After that the price of the two-day pass will increase to R1,350.
