Beauty corporates L’Oréal, Natura & Co and Kao are among 136 honourees drawn from 45 industries across 22 countries to feature in Ethisphere's annual World’s Most Ethical Companies list.

Ethisphere is positioned as a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. This is the 16th annual recognition of companies that have demonstrated a commitment to ethical business practices through programs that positively impact employees, communities, and broader stakeholders, and contribute to sustainable and profitable long-term business performance.

The three beauty giants have been lauded for their efforts in corporate ethical organisation and have demonstrated practices that positively impact employees, communities and stakeholders.

Japanese beauty brand owner Kao, the maker of Molton Brown and John Frieda, made the list for the 16th time, just ahead of French company, L’Oréal, which returned to the list for the 13th time, ahead of Body Shop owner Natura & Co.

“The moment is now, and the data is clear – companies must lead on sustainability, social issues and governance. The World’s Most Ethical Companies understand that the capitalism of today and tomorrow is one that demonstrates how we turn our ideals into action,” said Ethisphere CEO, Timothy Erblich. “Congratulations to the 2022 honorees for their dedication to advancing business integrity, for leadership on tough issues, and demonstrating that doing good is key to successful, long-term performance.” (Source: ethisphere.com)
