Soak, scrub, hard skin removal, moisturising mask, massage and paint are the six key steps of a pedicure.
Also vital to a providing a superior service is to do a proper prep, without cutting corners. The kind of prep you do depends on what type of pedicure you are doing – a lacquer or gel-polish treatment.
Nail techs should also work out in advance how much time each step of the pedicure will take.
Pedicures should also be tailored to each client as every client is different. For instance, younger clientele will want their skin looked after but also want glitter, nail art and colours.
