The EOHCB (Employers’ Organisation for Hair, Cosmetology & Beauty) reminds its members and the industry at large that Zimbabwean Nationals have been granted exemption until 30 June 2023 to legalise their status.
Employers are further reminded that, as per law, no person may employ an illegal/undocumented foreign national or a foreign national whose status does not authorise him/her to be employed.
States the EOCHB: “Applicants who have submitted an application via VFS before or on 31 March 2023 and whose waiver applicant outcomes are still pending are granted a blanket temporary extension until 31 December 2023 due to backlog being experienced.”
