AESTHETIC MEDICINE SPEAKER LINE UP

Dr Anjana Bhana completed the only South African registered post graduate course in Aesthetic Medicine – the Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine with Distinction/Cum Laude (84%) in 2014. Aesthetic medicine is Dr Anjana’s passion and she takes every opportunity to study and grow her skills. Her qualifications include a course on maxillofacial orthopaedics and orthodontics. In 2017, Dr Anjana completed an Aesthetic, Regenerative and Anti-ageing Medicine course with Professer Maurizo Ceccerell. She has also done a course in Practical Project Management through the UNISA School of Business.

I started The-T-Clinic with the specific aim to treat hormone imbalances that start to develop as we get older.

I started seeing younger & younger men coming to my practice with symptoms of low testosterone most probably due to our lifestyle and the stress that we are under.Once I started balancing hormone levels and supplementing their testosterone levels we started seeing a phenomenal increase in their productivity, an increase in their concentration and performance.

They were feeling healthier and all the patients reported that their libidos and sexual functions had improved.

Lourette, CEO of the growing Dermology group, is a highly experienced Laser Specialist with over 16 years’ experience in the industry. Today her clinics are found throughout South Africa, with a specialized team of laser therapists. Lourette obtain her qualifications at Isa Carstens in Stellenbosch in Somotology and proceeded to attend additional specialized courses in the aesthetic industry with a keen interest in laser & light. She often attends congresses as Speaker, nationally and internationally, to present on topics such as laser & light, business growth, management, and social media. She has trained various establishments, therapists and Doctors in laser & light and often writes articles for well-known magazines.

Dr Judey is a highly accomplished Biochemical Scientist and product development specialist with substantial experience in the disciplines of acute, chronic and post-surgical wound healing, regenerative medicine and cell therapy. She holds a Master’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology followed by her Ph.D. degree in in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Drug Development and Design. She recently obtained an Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics. Dr Judey gained extensive experience as a Research and Development Formulation Scientist. She was responsible for scientific and biomedical formulation of therapeutic products of premium brands in respective disciplines. Her contributions included cosmeceutical, pharmaceutical and medical device developments.

Since 1990 Dr Johan Botha has been in full time private Otolaryngology practice in Cape Town. He holds an M.B Ch.B from the University of Stellenbosch and an M. Med. (L et O) from the same university. Dr Johan is a member of the South African Otolaryngological Society and is a founding member and current CEO of Leenyx Technologies, a medical distributor focused on medical aesthetics.

Beverly Karam D’Aguanno is the South African Distributor and Trainer of the Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peeling system. She has her own clinic in Rivonia, Johannesburg and specialises in advanced aesthetics. Beverly was previously Operations and Sales Director for Thermolase SA and has worked in the USA and the UK.

Dr Jacobus van Niekerk is a GP with a special Interest in Aesthetic Medicine and Ethics. He was President of AAMSSA (Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa) from 2016 to 2019. Dr Cobus graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1997 and worked in the UK, becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburg in 2007 in Accident and Emergency Medicine. He serves on the Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa (AMCSA) Scientific Committee and completed the Advanced Diploma of Aesthetic Medicine (ADAM), Cum Laude.
