RapidLash partners with Reach for a Dream 1 November 2017Together with its Top 10 clients in South Africa, RapidLash is supporting the Reach for a Dream charity by hosting a Golf Day on 5 December 2017 at Clovelly Country Club in Kalk Bay. Reach for a Dream is a non-profit organisation that fulfills the dreams of children between the ages of 3 and 18, who have been diagnosed as having a life-threatening illness.Wayne La Grange, CEO of Blue Sky Distribution International, the RapidLash distributor for Africa, is calling on beauty industry suppliers to participate in this charity drive by donating beauty hampers that will be auctioned at the RapidLash Reach for a Dream Golf Day. All proceeds will go to the Reach for a Dream Foundation, to help the dreams of 10 children come true.Says La Grange: “My partner lost her little girl, Kaysie, to cancer at the tender age of 2 and the devastation was so great that it has stayed with me ever since. Since then we have been involved with fund raisers for Cancer Children. I suddenly thought it would be great to do a golf day with our top 10 clients nationally to try and help fulfil the dreams of 10 children through Reach for a Dream. All of a sudden the beauty industry has started wanting to be involved in this initiative in a big way.”RapidLash is asking the beauty industry and its suppliers to #StandforLOVE and come and play golf on the 5 December at Clovelly Country Club (30 four-balls only will be accepted for this event annually) and to participate by donating a small hamper or any prize which can be auctioned for R1000+ per player on the day to the players. The proceeds will be given to the Reach for a Dream Foundation. “Even if beauty companies don’t play golf but would like to contribute we will thank each contributor publically after the event on our social media campaign,” continues La Grange. “We as RapidLash are providing a hamper to the value of R4,500 on the day and are also inviting sponsors to brand the 18 holes at R5,000 each. Many of our big beauty companies are wanting to entertain the players, feed them with snacks and drinks and contribute to the fun of the event at their holes.
