Beauty industry’s brave new world15 January 2018Digitalisation, along with individualisation, will be key factors in the future of beauty, according to Jean-Paul Agon, CEO of global cosmetics giant, L’Oreal.Agon’s view emerged during an interview on the CNBC television news channel in mid-January, where he spoke about his optimism regarding digital, stating that L’Oreal had identified ‘the digital tsunami’ a decade ago already. According to Agon, CNBC had transformed itself over the past five to 10 years in terms of digital.
